Fat becomes a problem to the body when the fat is building around your waistline, belly or inside your arteries. And there are some many life-threatening diseases that are associated with these can of fats. Especially the fats loaded in your belly. In some part of the world having a "pot belly" belly fat is a sign of being wealthy. But the truth is that it is a sign and symptoms of different kinds of diseases.

I know some persons will fight me for this but the truth is that added sugar is not healthy. Expert says it can affect the healthy metabolism of the body negatively.  
This is how it works when you eat too much sugar which contains glucose and fructose, the liver which is responsible to metabolized the sugar will burn it into fats because there is an amount of sugar it can work on. And these fats are stored in different parts of the body especially the belly.
The first step to eliminate that belly fat is to decide on how to reduce the sugar in your diet. This can be done by checking the label of foods and drinks you buy to know the amount of sugar in them.  Also, reduce the number of soft drinks and fruit juice you drink. 

2. Eating of protein is better
When it comes to losing belly fat in long-term, I will recommend eating of protein. The type of protein I am recommending here is not the protein gotten from meat because that is also a source of fat. It has over 70 percent fats. 
Protein from fish, seafood, legumes, nuts,  and some whole grains will help the body reduce belly fats in a long-term strategy.
There are many ways the protein can help the body reduce belly fat. 
1 it can reduce cravings by over 50 percent.
2 it has the ability to boost metabolism by over 90 percent calories in a day. 
3 it has the ability to work on belly fat in particular.

Fiber helps the body to lose belly fat by slowing down the digestion and absorption of fats into the body thus help the body to gather fewer fats in the belly.
Fiber can be gotten from fruits and vegetables or you can go for the fiber supplement it is also very effective.

Exercising is one of those things you can do to lose belly fat and stay healthy. A heart attack can happen to any person,  at any time and at any place. But it is more rampant with adults.  A heart attack is when the heart suddenly stops to function.  ( Stop to perform its function of pumping blood and carrying oxygen through the whole body)  And it is deadly. It has claimed many lives and it is still claiming lives. There are many factors responsible for somebody to have a heart attack. But the good news is that heart attack can be avoided and that is what I am going to share with you today on this blog post.

How to avoid a heart attack.

1, Take good care of your health.
Some persons don't care about their health. They don't know anything about their health and they don't care to know until they fall sick. Please don't have a heart attack first before you want to care for your heart or you may never be there to care for your health.
Cardiovascular disease which is the major cause of heart attack account for over 40 percent of death in the world. For you not to be among this 40 percent, you must know how or treat the risk factor associated with this diseases. Risk factors like diabetics, hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity and how the entry circulative system works. To avoid a heart attack you must not be ignorant of the risk factors. Other risk factors that you need to take into consideration are your age. It is common to people who are older than 35 years. And also you're genetic makeup. If one of your parent or both of them had it, then you are at risk.

3. Smoking is dangerous to your hearts' heart.
To avoid a heart attack stay away from smoking and second-hand smoke. Cigarette smoking can lead to heart disease, stroke, and even heart attack. 
Smoking can damage the lining of your cardiovascular system.
The carbon monoxide that is present in the tobacco that you smoke can reduce the amount of oxygen your blood carries. This is not good for your hearts' heart. 
The nicotine present in the cigarettes you smoke can trigger your body to produce adrenaline. Adrenaline can increase your blood pressure and make your blood to clot which can lead to a heart attack.

4. Always check your blood pressure.
Do you even know your blood pressure? Do you even know how it works? When last did you check your blood pressure? If you can answer these questions correctly, then you are not at risk at all. To avoid a heart attack you must check your blood pressure always and know how it works. And if the result shows that you are hypertensive that is if the reading is above 115/80, then you need to see your healthcare provider for treatment. 
If you don't check or don't know you are hypertensive you might be very close to a heart attack. Hypertension causes the circulative system to wear and tear which may lead to a heart attack.
5. Always check your cholesterol.
Three factors can increase your cholesterol.
1 a number of blood fats your liver produces.
2 the amount of cholesterol you take in through our diet.
3 And age, the older you are the higher your blood fats.
There are two types of blood fats the good blood fat (HDL) and the bad blood fat ( LDL)  The higher your HDL the better for your cardiovascular health. And higher LDL can lead to a heart attack.
Please see your health care provider if your LDL is higher. It can be corrected by drugs or diet.    

6. Mind what you eat and drink.

1 How you handle your breast during and after breastfeeding. One great way to make your breast stand firm and not sag is to take care of your breast during and after breastfeeding. Smoking will make your breast sag.  As a woman who want her breast to stand firm and not sag, you must stop smoking. Two ways smoking can make the breast sag. exercise is good for the whole body, and people have been advise for health reason to exercise always. Scalping the skin tag; You can remove the skin tags on your skin with a scalpel but don’t do this by yourself. Water best food for the skin:  If you want your skin to glow like mine or even more than mine, the secret is water.  Drink lot of water in the morning when you just wake up, at breakfast, at lunch, dinner and I also recommend you wake up and drink in the middle of your sleep.  Water helps remove toxins and dead skin cell from the body leaving your skin glowing.

4. Water helps clean the Colon: There are many terminal diseases link to unclean and low-performing colon. To me, it is one organ that is very important to the body. I have discussed here possible complications that are linked to diabetes.  These complications can happen to you if you don’t control your diabetes. Diabetes type 2 usually lasts a lifetime, and but it can be controlled with exercise, weight control, and even diet and there are reports that after some months of proper management, the diabetes symptoms have to reduced.
1         Watch your Foot – Ulcers of the foot are serious complications due to diabetes these are complications that can happen to you if you do not control your diabetes. It is serious because your foot may have to be amputated for it to be treated well.
2         Your Eyes can also be affected- Diabetic retinopathy and even cataracts are some eyes complications that are linked to diabetes. This happens when pressure builds up in the eyes due to the effect of diabetes. They can be treated with drugs and sometimes with surgery.
3         Skin issues – Persons living with diabetes are more likely going to get skin infections or skin disorders compared with persons living without diabetes. Please avoid bleaching of your skin if you are diabetic and control your diabetes by taking your medications, weight control and taking the right diet.
4         Hypertension and Heart problems –These complications are common with people living with diabetes. And this can also lead to other health complications like kidney disease, stroke, and even heart attack. This can happen when there is a shortage of blood to the heart and other important organs in the body due to the effect of diabetes.
5         Mental health issues – If you don’t control your diabetes, you are at risk of having mental health issues. Health problems like anxiety and depression can be linked to uncontrolled diabetes.  
6         Gastroparesis – I fear this disease. It is when the muscles of the stomach stop functioning properly. And it is characterise with bleeding in the stomach,
         indigestion and even stomach ulcer.
7   Ketoacidosis – Acidity in the blood is a health complication that can be linked to diabetes. It is when you have an accumulation of ketosis and acidosis in the body due to the effect of uncontrolled diabetes.
8         Neuropathy – Nerve damage can happen to you if you don’t control your diabetes. Ataxia, Bell's palsy, Brachial neuritis, Distal muscular dystrophy and so many other neuro diseases are a link to uncontrolled diabetes.
9     Hyperosmolar Hyperglycemic Nonketotic Syndrome - This is a serious complication. It is when the blood sugar levels go up and it will be difficult to bring it down.
10     Stroke –People with uncontrolled diabetes have a high risk of having a stroke because if your hypertension due to high cholesterol levels and high blood sugar levels are not controlled you might have a stroke.
11    Erectile dysfunction –Men with diabetes that is not controlled are associated with male impotence. It is very common with men and it can be treated by controlling your diabetes and seeing your health care provider for proper investigation and treatment.
12     Healing of wounds –Persons with uncontrolled diabetes have cuts that take more time to heal. Unlike people without diabetes. This due to a high level of blood sugar.

Sickle cell anemia and yellow eyes


Look at your eyes using a mirror you will see that the white part of your eye called sclera is yellow. Sickle cell anemia and Yellow eyes go together.  It is a  common symptom with people living with sickle cell anemia.  Jaundice is the main culprit. Its major symptoms are the coloring of the skin and the eyes and it can also be called icterus.  When you have this yellow colored eyes as a sickle cell patient you should know you are very close to a sickle cell crisis.  Now that we know what causes your eyes to turn yellow as a sickle cell anemia patient, let's move away from there and discuss the possible solutions.  
To get the solution you must know what happens to your body that turns your eyes, skin and even fluid in the body yellowish  
The problem with sickle cell patients is the red blood cells. The red blood cells of a sickle cell patients don't live   Long like the other persons. They die often and are broken down by the body as waste to be sent out of the body as fluid or excreta. In the process of breaking it down for excretion, it is converted to bilirubin for easy excretion by the liver by converting it into bile.
The average sickle cell doesn't live long they live less than 12 days so you will have more red blood cell been broken down and been excreted by the body. This will make the body to be overloaded with bilirubin and thus giving the liver much work to do.

To get that white eyes you desire even when you are living with sickle cell anemia, you must help your liver stay healthy by eating the right foods, vegetables and fruits and also staying away from foods and substance that can harm the liver. I mean things like alcohol, the more alcohol your liver break down and remove from the body system, the more weaken it becomes. So as a person living with sickle cell disorder you must stay away from alcohol. 
Medications, some medications are very harmful to the liver even some vitamins supplement like vitamin A And D. To avoid damage to your liver you should always take the recommended dose.     
You should not consume too much protein and fatty foods. They can be harmful to your liver and makes your liver not to function well 
Some of us take herbs without consulting your healthcare provider. This is not advisable because some  
Herbs contain chemicals in them that can cause damage to your liver.
In conclusion, take care of your liver because of this the organ that can help your system stay clean.  Drink plenty of water even when you wake up at night and pamper your liver with good foods.
