Natural ways to treat heartburn

Heartburn is an uncomfortable and unbearable burning sensation in your chest right behind the breastbone. Heartburn is caused by acid reflux, There is a ring of muscle that allows food into your stomach if this born relaxes when it shouldn’t. there will be a problem because it will allow acid from the stomach goes back up to your esophagus, and when there is too much acid in the esophagus, there will be heartburn. As painful it might be there are natural ways to treat heartburn

1. baking soda
A baking soda or sodium bicarbonate as it is called can help curb that burning, sensation in your chest caused by acid reflux. Baking soda has a PH close to 8.0 and can neutralize stomach acid. It can treat heartburn naturally because it is a base substance. Just add 1 teaspoon of baking soda into one glass of water, stir the mixture and drink at once and that mixture of one glass is okay for one day. please do not take for more than a week because it contains a lot of salt which can curse some side effect.
. 2 Aloe juice
Aloe juice is one of the natural ways to treat heartburn because it contains some ant inflammation compound that helps heal burns and it can also help with heartburn because it can reduce inflammation. Just take a glass of aloe vera juice before any meal or when you just notice the heartburn and it will calm the system down. You can take it whenever for it has no side effect. While buying get the one that has the laxative component remove.
3. Chew gum
Dental Research has shown that if you chew sugar-free chew gum, it helps clear heartburn within minutes because as you are chewing gum it stimulates the salivary gland to produce more saliva and all the acid built up in your esophagus will be diluted and cleared away.  Mind you, sugar-free chew gum. After a meal, take one sugar-free gum into your mouth and chew for about 40 minutes to clear out any possible heartburn.
4.  don’t lie down just after eating
Heartburn will be worse at night, so do not lie down after you just eat. Stay at list 3 to 4 hours after a meal. If you lie down few minutes after the meal the digested content and fluid will move back into the esophagus and this will curse more acid in that region. While you sleep elevate your head about 5 inches I will not advise you use a pillow because you can slip off the pillow while sleeping. Just place a wedge-shaped pillow under your foam or mattress while dressing in it before bedtime.
5. Change eating habit
One of the ways to treat heartburn is to check your eating habit I mean how you eat when you eat and what you eat.  Don’t take giant size mouthfuls of food into your mouth. Smaller bites are better so that your stomach will digest the food easily and still perform the functions of removing excess acid out of the stomach. Mind what you eat because there are some foods that can trigger heartburn, foods like citrus fruits, deep-fried foods, and even spicy foods. Foods like banana or apple are good they contain natural antacids.
